Conan O’Brien Announces New Show Title

It’s hard to believe that Conan O’Brien has been hosting since 1993. Where does the time go? He helmed Late Night with Conan O’Brien from 1993 to 2008 and then took over The Tonight Show from Jay Leno only to have to give it back. O’Brien has been off the air for a few months while his contract with NBC expires, so he’s been filling his time with his Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour. Now that his third hosting gig is premiering on TBS on Monday, November 8 at 11 p.m. (ET/PT), Conan took a moment to announce the title of his new show:

“I’m just using ‘Conan’ and dropping the ‘O’Brien’ because I want to get away from the whole Irish thing,” says O’Brien.
