The 86th Academy Awards, which is scheduled for this Sunday at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif., released the names of the A-list presenters for the event this week. The producers of the show, Neil Meron and Craig Zadan said they are excited about having a full-fledged Hollywood community turning up for the Oscar ceremony this year. The show will include a diverse set of stars, from the nominees for this year’s awards to those who represent the motion picture legacy.
Previous Oscar nominee presenters at Sunday’s event include Samuel L. Jackson, Kate Hudson, Harrison Ford, Gabourey Sidibe, Will Smith, Bill Murray, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts and Viola Davis. Other actors among Hollywood’s royalty who have included are Bradley Cooper, Anna Kendrick, Matthew McConaughey, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. With last year’s award winners such as Anne Hathaway, Daniel Day-Lewis and Jennifer Lawrence being present at the event, and previous Academy Award winners such as Sidney Poitier, Charlize Theron, Sally Field, Robert De Niro, Goldie Hawn, Penelope Cruz and Kevin Spacey lined up to present at the show, it is definitely going to be an exciting night! The 86th Academy Awards airs on ABC on Sunday, March 2.
