‘Tangled Ever After’ Premieres Before ‘Beauty and the Beast’ in 3-D

Great news for fans of Walt Disney Pictures’ Tangled! The story continues in the short animated film Tangled Ever After which will run before every showing of Disney’s classic Beauty and the Beast re-released in stunning 3-D. Tangled directors Nathan Greno and Byron Howard helmed the upcoming short animation, which encompasses the wedding of Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) to Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi). Beauty and the Beast and Tangled Ever After will premiere on January 13, 2012.

The story of Tangled Ever After revolves around many of the cherished characters from the film, but focuses on Maximus and Pascal who play parts in Rapunzel’s and Flynn’s wedding as ring bearer and flower chameleon respectively. Unfortunately, the gold bands go missing and it’s up to Pascal and Maximus to find the rings before the wedding is ruined. Audiences can count on comedic hijinks that only the world of Tangled can offer.

Tangled Ever After is the perfect accompaniment to Beauty and the Beast, which is returning to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D™ and introducing a whole new generation to the Disney classic with stunning new 3D imagery. Beauty and the Beast was nominated for six Academy Awards®, winning Oscars® for Best Song, by the renowned Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, and Best Original Score (Menken).
