Michael Clarke Duncan, known best for his Oscar-nominated performance in The Green Mile, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2012 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He was 54. His fiancée, Rev. Omarosa Manigault, who appeared on the reality show The Apprentice, releases a statement through Duncan’s publicist Joy Fehily to confirm his passing. Duncan had been hospitalized for two months following a heart attack earlier this year.
The statement explained that Duncan had “suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered”.
