Glee fans rejoice! Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. and Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products have announced another edition to the critically-acclaimed Karaoke Revolution franchise — Karaoke Revolution Glee: Volume 2 for Wii! Singers will get to belt out vocals to the 20 new songs and relive the show’s best moments from Season One of the award-winning show. It’s the perfect compliment for fans of the first volume.
Players will get to sing alongside their favorite cast members, including Rachel, Kurt and Mercedes and tracks will include Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance“, All-American Rejects’ “Gives You Hell” and Madonna’s “Like a Prayer“. Karaoke Revolution Glee: Volume 2 will also offer extended performances as well as exclusive clips of never-before-seen show moments.
“We knew that GLEE fans were unbelievably passionate and loyal, but even we were surprised by the overwhelming success of the first Karaoke Revolution Glee title and the demand for the follow-up,” said Shinji Hirano, President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. “Well, now ‘Gleeks’ have their wish. With this new game they can perform even more of the hits that have made the show such a runaway success.”
Fans of the franchise will appreciate the proprietary voice recognition technology, which accurately scores pitch and rhythm. As an added bonus, however, Volume 2 also features a vibrato indicator and offers independent volume controls for vocals and instruments.
Karaoke Revolution Glee: Volume 2 is slated to release this spring exclusively for Wii.
