Ridley’s Scott’s entire crew from the film Alien (1979) are all set to return in the upcoming Alien game, except for John Hurt and Ian Holm. Sigourney Weaver, Veronica Cartwright, Yaphet Kotto, Tom Skerritt and Harry Dean Stanton will reprise their roles that turned them into legendary icons in the sci-fi horror genre, by lending their voices for Sega’s latest game: Alien: Isolation. Bear in mind, however, that the original crew is only available to those who pre-order the game initially, and this content is only accessible via two additional missions created specifically for the original crew. The majority of the game revolves around Ripley’s daughter, who explores the abandoned Nostromo. The game is targeting a release this October and will be available on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Those who don’t pre-order the game will still get access to these two exclusive missions, but at a later undisclosed date, and probably not for free. Alien‘s creative lead, Alistair Hope, revealed that getting the key cast to take on their roles was crucial to bring in the mood of the film into the game.
