MTV‘s The Hills launched many a career for its starlets during its four-year-run — Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port have taken on the roles of fashion designer; Audrina Patridge, the role of model; Kristin Cavallari, the ever-hopeful role of actress. As for Heidi Montag, she worked for a career in fashion design, music, and even dry shampoo — but in the end, she got Spencer Pratt.
During the course of their four-year relationship, Montag and Pratt earned their weight in gold, much thanks to MTV’s moving cameras and still photos on behalf of their pals: the paparazzi. However, in light of issuing divorce papers to husband Pratt after one year of marriage, Montag has been surprisingly MIA from the photo circuit — a move that is either a result of a trying emotional time or finally realizing that her plastic surgery binge was a huge mistake. However, in a move to either make more money or garner more fame now that The Hills is kaput, Pratt is in talks to pen a tell-all about Montag. Pratt tells tabloid UsWeekly:
“My last book, How to be Famous, didn’t make the New York Times best-seller list because it was in the self-help section,” Pratt tells Us. “This one is going to be totally different. I’m not holding anything back.”
We have to wonder if there’s anything that will keep the still-proud King Spencer from embarrassing himself any more than he already has. The couple’s divorce isn’t even final and he is already considering it a go-ahead to let the dirty laundry air more than it already has. How much stink can one person attempt to make money off of? Although reading about the insanity of at least one-half of the duo has got to be better than a barrage of perfectly staged, poorly executed “paparazzi shots”. Whoever Pratt hires as ghostwriter should hit up Montag ASAP because a good counter book on his antics would not only be a good therapeutic measure, but also make for a great box-set this Christmas.
What do you think? Would you read Spencer’s tell-all about Heidi?
